Testimonials

Steve McClelland is one of the leading Masters of Ceremonies in Queensland. The Australian Institute of Management had heard of Steve’s prowess and asked about him among our members. The feedback was
universally positive with regards to his professionalism, warmth, sense of humour and flexibility. The AIM, therefore, had no hesitation in entrusting our signature annual event – the Management Excellence Awards to Steve. His style is positive, upbeat and sincere. He works well to a script and can
ad-lib to value-add as required. Steve has an uncanny ability to put contestants and finalists at their ease, ensuring they perform at their best at the event. The AIM has recommended him to other States for their Awards. – Australian Institute of Management, Management Excellence Awards

When the Ag Show Board decided to host and sponsor the Rural Ambassador Awards, Steve McClelland was our first choice MC and has compered and interviewed the finalists for a total of 12 years. Steve has
the innate ability to make the contestant relax while at the same time providing the platform for them to relate their experiences to the audience, in an enjoyable, eloquent and refreshing manner. We have found Steve to be the consummate professional in his field and his ability to adapt to any situation has held him in high regard with the Board. Steve addressed the finalists this year stating that “Life is not about the amount of breaths you take – it’s about the moments that take your breath away”. – Rural Ambassador Award, Queensland Ag Show

Steve has been the Master of Ceremonies at each successive launch of “Voices on the Range, Youth Cultural Festival” since its inception. At this time he has hosted and facilitated the 2 hour program – welcomed the audience, introduced items, thanked sponsors and interviewed authors and poets. The fact that we have asked him to do so on 8 successive occasions indicates the high value we place upon his work, in such a context. Steve is fluent, confident and engaging with an excellent sense of timing. He understands the literary context well and is able to read the needs of his audience and presenters. – Voices on the Range, Youth Cultural Festival
